Denver has four distinct seasons. Determining the weather is the Rocky Mountains that are to the West of Denver, which can make the weather very unpredictable. Because Denver is also situated in a ‘bowl’ like plain, it can easily be shielded from strong winds and harsh weather which the ‘bowl’ like effect also can keep the city warmer.
However, snow does fall there between the June to late September making it quite chilly for the locals.
Recreational Parks and Landscapes
Long before Denver was put on the map, it was just a dusty plain with nothing much to do. Now days though, Denver is full of wonderous landscapes and heaps of parklands that not only beautify, but allow families and tourists the pleasure of enjoying their spare time in these grounds.
Over 200 parks, yes, 200 parks brighten up the city and they range in size from small to extremely large parklands. There are nearly 30 recreational centres that allow relaxation and recreational enjoyment of all kinds to those who live locally.
